1. Nars Powermatte Lip Pigment - Done It Again - Lipstick Kiss Test
Nars power matte lip pigment in this shade Done it Again, claims to be smudge-resistant. This product is a two-time Allure best of beauty winner. It retails for $34 Canadian from Sephora which is kind of pricey, but people are always raving about this lipstick. I've even seen videos where they recommend this lipstick to wear under a mask. So if it can hold up under a mask, it can hold up to a baby kiss test...right?

2. Dose of Colors Liquid Matte Lipstick Knock on Wood - Lipstick Kiss Test
This retails for about $18 American and this is cruelty-free, paraben-free, vegan, and gluten-free. This is the brand Dose of Colors. Oh, and it fails. You see, it's like a lip outline.

3. OFRA COSMETICS Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Versailles - Lipstick Kiss Test
I have two shimmer lipsticks, Ofra and Stila. On the Ofra website, it says this matte liquid lipstick is long-lasting color that perfectly outlines and fills in your lips turning your pout into kissable velvet. Stunning pigments stay all day with minimal transfer. So I guess they're not claiming it to be transfer-proof however I bought this from the Ipsy website and the Ipsy website says, when I bought it: hydrates and protects your lips each time you apply because it's smudge-proof and transfer-proof. It wears on and on plus it doesn't pull moisture from your lips like some long-wear colors. Metallics and rose gold are on point right now so Versailles is totally on point for the season.
So the website I bought it from said it was transfer-proof. Ofra doesn't say that. Ofra is a cruelty-free brand. The lipstick retails for about $20.
That fails.

4. Stila Stay All Day® Liquid Lipstick in the shade Illuminaire Shimmer - Lipstick Kiss Test
It retails for about $29 Canadian. It claims - won't bleed or transfer and it is also a cruelty-free brand. It's a shimmering warm caramel.
